This historically important, monument-protected building was built by the Friedrich Engels family. A few years ago the donation founders Roswitha and Erich Bethe developed the unusual concept Art Fabrik & Hotel. Here you can visit for free the art gallery and artists workshops and watch how a new piece of art is produced.

Restaurant

• ART Restaurant: Visit the ART Restaurant with its unique atmosphere, and culinarily coddle yourself. All tables and chairs are from different artists. A Café and a beer bar round it all up. Daily changing live piano music, on Sundays a beautiful champagne breakfast from 8 to 12 o'clock and many further highlights await you! The restaurant is open noon to 2:30pm daily and from 6 to 11 p.m. The beer garden invites you to enjoy a relaxing drink. The artists café is adjacent to the artists' studios creating a proximity to the artists who work there.
