Welcome to Anton Guest House, an early Edwardian (1905) Gentleman's residence. We have undergone refurbishment to offer our guests the best of four star comfort and service, whilst retaining much of the original character of the property. You will find that we have thought of the smallest detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have installed a new Edwardian style ensuite to one room, which also benefits from new decor, carpet, beds and furnishings. An Edwardian atmosphere is given to the rooms with period furniture and original fireplaces.We are conveniently located a short 10 minute walk from the town centre and all major transport routes are nearby. The historical Abbey Church, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael, is just around the corner, along with plenty of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and a multi screen cinema. Other attractions nearby include Shrewsbury Castle and the world heritage site of Ironbridge is only 14 miles away.Breakfast is served between 7.15am-9.00am (earlier by prior arrangement) in our elegant dining room where we offer a cooked breakfast of your choice, and can cater for vegetarian, low fat or coeliac diets. We use locally sourced food of good quality. A refrigerator and microwave are located in the dining room for your personal use, and chilled bottled water is available here during the summer months. We offer all our guests wireless internet access free of charge. Freeview available in all guest rooms.As a special treat for your loved one, or for a special occasion, why not take advantage of our Romantic Package. For just £35 we will arrange for a bottle of champagne on ice and chocolates from The Chocolate Gourmet of Shrewsbury to be placed in your room upon arrival.
