Located in the Les Crozats district, on the hills above the resort, the totally refurbished residence of Antares, enjoys an uninterrupted view over the Morzine valley. It offers a direct access to the slopes on skis and is linked to the heart of the resort and to shops by lifts.

Closest airports CMF/GNB/GVA/LYS. The guests may get to Avoriaz from Chambery Aix Les Bains airport (CMF), Grenoble/Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB), Geneve-Cointrin Airport (GVA) 80 km away and Lyon-St Exupery airport (LYS) 200km.

Accommodation & Facilities
All apartments are equipped with a kitchenette with ceramic hobs, refrigerator, microwave grill oven, dishwasher and electric coffee maker, balcony, television (at a charge) and a bathroom. The Residence also provides ski lockers free of charge. At an extra charge the residence is providing a baby kit, cleaning, cleaning kit, bathroom linen, a baby kit (suitable for children aged 0 to 2 years (highchair for children aged 6 months and above).For children weighing over 15 kg, we recommend using the bed safety rail available on loan at reception.) Pets are also acceptable at an extra charge. Guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally and that bed and bathroom linen are provided at an extra charge.

The resort has a kids club, however the residence would like to remind the parents that a health record, including up-to-date vaccinations (at least BCG/triple+ Polio) must be presented in child care centers, clubs and mini-clubs.

Apart from skiing the guests can also participate in a number of leisure activities as, paragliding, dog sled, horse drawn sleigh rides, walks with snowshoes, helicopter flights, snake slide(several sleds together,) snow mountain biking, ice-diving, hot air balloon flights. There are also two squash courts and with a multi activity card the guest can have unlimited access to the following activities, the altiform centre with fitness classes, weights, balneotherapy, squash, hammam, skating rink and Body form area. There are also several shops, bars restaurant and cinema.

Perching above Morzine at an altitude of 1800m, Avoriaz has become a favourite holiday destination with its avant-garde architecture, countless activities, state-of-the-art infrastructure and huge Portes du Soleil ski area connected to Switzerland. This is a pedestrian-only resort, where parents and children can move about in a completely safe and healthy setting.

Some 40 years ago a group of friends dreamed of creating an immense linked ski area in France and Switzerland. Soon after the Portes du Soleil was born: a wintersports playground comprising 12 resorts, 2 countries ? France and Switzerland ? and 650km of glorious pistes! The skiing and snowboarding is among the most varied in the world...the Portes du Soleils summits and valleys beg to be explored. Although the whole area is not entirely linked by lifts, the vast majority of it is, and there is so much skiing, it is difficult to define favourite?s, although of course the Wall in Avoriaz is always fun (good skiers only!)
