Located at the entrance to Marrakech the hotel Amine offers comfortable accommodation built in Moroccan style. The hotel has good facilities, simple yet comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is very popular with Medhotels.com customers due to being very affordable accommodation.
Accommodation
The hotel consists of 195 comfortable rooms. All rooms are good sized and have a bathroom with w.c and bidet, air conditioning (in high season), direct dial telephone and satellite TV (BBC World). Basic baby cots are available although you may find bringing a travel cot more comfortable and preferable for your child. Most rooms have either a balcony or terrace and most have views of either the garden and/or the pool.
Food & Beverage
The Amine restaurant offers local and international dishes and a continental breakfast, all buffet style with waiter service for drinks. There is a small furnished terrace for guests wishing to dine outside when possible. The pool snack bar is available daytime and in the evening the reception bar is open till 23.00 and also serves light snacks.
Sports & Leisure
The Amine swimming pool opens in Jan/Feb 2007 after being restyled and is a very comfortable place to relax and soak up the sun. The hotel has a small fitness room, hammam and sauna treatments are also available (all with extra charge). There is an on site shop and a hairdresser (privately run).
Facilities & Services
A comfortable reception area with plenty of comfortable sofas, porter service, room service and money exchange are available. There is a cash machine just outside the doors of the hotel and nearby café and shops.
Useful Information on Distances
New Marrakech centre is approx 2km, the old Medina approx 4km and the airport approx 6km. As a rough guide, to get to the Medina from out side the hotel entrance, guests can walk (about 40 mins, all flat ground - no hills) take the public bus (bus number 1 takes about 15 mins) or take a private taxi (about 10mins).

The hotel Amine is very popular on our programme and has been rated 3 Med wing plus. It is suited to those looking for comfortable yet affordable accommodation. The food here is well prepared and the facilities staff are good. The location is not a problem as the taxis are low cost and freely available.
