Wethersfield is the oldest town in New England, here in May 1781, at the Webb House on Main Street, Washington and Rochambeau planned the battle of Yorktown, which culminated in the independence of the then rebellious colonies. Start your tour at the Wethersfield Museum, then visit the bedroom where Washington slept, at the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum. Come to Wethersfield, and discover the place where history lives.
