Accommodation and Facilities This small, family run hotel has 36 bedrooms, all equipped with bath or shower, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, telephone, radio, satellite television and balcony. Rooms can accommodate three persons. The comfortable Hotel Alphof features reception with lobby, hotel bar with fireplace, new cocktail Check-in Lounge bar, dining room, a la carte restaurant, Jägerstüberl, children?s playroom and sun terrace. Leisure facilities include a panorama swimming pool (open daily from 07:30 ? 21.00), an indoor plunge pool with water massage and integrated whirlpool, eucalyptus steam-bath, bio-sauna and sauna. Internet access and a range of cosmetic treatments can also be arranged for a small local charge. Guests will enjoy a complimentary relaxation massage (20 minutes) and one free use of the solarium (both apply to full paying guests only). A guided village ramble, with a glass of sparking wine, is regularly arranged. The half board Plus arrangement includes a welcome drink, an extensive cold buffet breakfast, afternoon buffet from 15:00 ? 17:00 with a selection of cakes, snacks or soup and a 4 course evening meal, with choice of main course and salad buffet. Nearby Kramsach lies opposite the mouth of the Alpbach Valley, 12 kilometres from Alpbach, and is home to 5 small lakes on the Reintaler Lake Plateau. Due to their sun-kissed, location, the lakes are the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol. Swimming, rowing and fishing are high on the agenda in this area, with sailing and motorboats being banned. Alpbach also features an indoor adventure swimming pool and leisure complex with a water slide, island and waterfall, children?s swimming area, sauna and steam-bath. Walking and Hiking: Alpbach lies in the picturesque Alpbach Valley, in a unique setting between the Kitzbuhel and Ziller Valley Alps. The regional tourist office arranges a range of guided walking tours throughout the valley each week.For those who are less energetic, the Wiedersbergerhorn lift operates from June to October and takes one to the high mountain pastures and hiking paths on the Wiedersberg Mountain. The popular Lauserland adventure park, with its playground, slides, swings, crawling tunnels, trampolines and water games, is also located here. The Reiterkogel lift, in the neighbouring village of Reith, ascends to the Reiterkogel, a wonderful family-friendly walking area, offering fantastic views of the Ziller and Inn Valleys. Mountain Biking: Alpbach boasts ?the ultimate bike trails and routes, making it the perfect biking paradise for all standards.
