Please note that check in and check out day for this property is only Saturday. Your stay should be either for 7 or 14 nights. From 14th March there are daily arrivals with a minimum four night stay. Accommodation and Facilities Owned and run by the friendly Schnellreider Family, this traditional chalet-style hotel has 27 bedrooms, all equipped with shower, toilet and satellite television. Some rooms also feature balcony. The Gasthof has a reception with safe facilities, a spacious dining room/lounge with house bar and games room with table tennis, pool table, air hockey, pinball and table football (some local charge may be incurred). Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a sauna which is free daily from 4:00 pm ? 6:00 pm, an infrared cabin, foot baths and a relaxation area. The All Inclusive Light arrangement includes a breakfast buffet, daily packed lunch consisting of a filled roll, chocolate bar, fruit and small drink), afternoon coffee and cake from 4:00 pm ? 5:00 pm and a 3 course evening meal. A range of fruit juices, ice teas, soft drinks, mineral water, draught beer, house wine, coffee, tea and hot chocolate is also available from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. The free ski bus, which operates to the Salvistabahn gondola near Itter, stops outside. Ski Facts Mariastein is located just 15 kilometres from Austria?s largest interconnecting ski region, the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, and a free ski bus service operates to the nearest main feeder lift. This area encompasses the resorts of Soll, Itter, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Brixen, Hopfgarten, Kelchsau and Westendorf. It offers a wide range of runs for all standards and is ideal for beginners and experienced skiers alike. In a recent survey on the Top Resort internet platform, the Skiwelt was placed 4th best in a list of 4000 skiing regions worldwide! A new eight seater gondola, the Skiwelt-Kitzbuheler Alpen lift, planned to be completed for Winter 2008-09, will complete the final connection in the Skiwelt between the resorts of Brixen and Westendorf. As Westendorf is already connected to Kirchberg (in the Kitzbuhel region), by the Ki-West gondola, this new lift will connect the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental to Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg. The entire region, known as the Kitzbuheler Alpen will then be one of the three largest interconnecting ski resorts in the world, and covered by one lift pass, the Kitzbuheler Alpen pass (upgrade on the Skiwelt lift pass).
