It is the largest resort in the Hautes Alpes and the fifth largest ski area in France. How to get there Closest airports TRN/GNB/CMF. The guests may get to Serre Chevalier from Chambery Aix Les Bains airport (CMF), Grenoble/Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB) 140 km away and Turin Airpot (TRN). Please note that check in and check out day for this property is only Saturday. Your stay should be either for 7 or 14 nights. Accommodation & Facilities The Hotel Club has 109 rooms with two, three, four or five beds. All the rooms are equipped with shower or private bathroom, WC, direct telephone and flat screen television. The rooms are cleaned daily; and the guests have a complete hotel service. There are numerous leisure activities as, ice rink, bars, creperies, shops, cinemas, swimming pools, ice driving school, paragliding, ice fall, climbing, snowmobile, horse riding, tennis, horse drawn carriage rides, discos, halfpipe, boardercross, snowpark and Serre Che Reflexe, a new relaxation area with jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna, body jet showers and beauty treatment room, there is also a sunny terrace with views over the Valley, a panoramic restaurant (Board includes wine with lunch and dinner), a room for shows, a bar, and a lounge with open fireplace corner. Guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally. For the younger guests there is a Club des tout P?tits for children from 18 months to four years, a mini club for children from 4 years to under 12 years and an Anim?Jeunes club for children from 12 to under 15 years, with evening entertainments and several other activities. The full board plus arrangement includes wine, entertainment and childrens club. Location At an altitude of 1500m the hotel is situated at the entrance to the village of Monetier-les-Bains (Serre Chevalier 1500) and it benefits from uninterrupted views over the whole valley. Ski Facts The Southern Alps covers a huge area, stretching from the Mercantour in the Alpes Maritimes to the Bauges in Isere. It is difficult to summarise the skiing in this vast area, which itself is divided into different ski regions. However one of the main differences between skiing in the Northern Alps and the Southern Alps is sunshine! There are some epic runs, like the Sarenne in Alpe d?Huez, which is the longest run in Europe at over 17kms (Starts black and finishes green). Also the chance to ski the ?68 Olympic downhill runs at Chamrousse, or follow in the ski steps of Luc Alphand in Serre Chevalier. All these areas offer fantastic off-piste opportunities and a wide variety of pistes from beginner to expert. This information relates to the entire ski region.
