Allamanda Beach Hotel is an oceanfront property located on the south coast of Barbados in close proximity to a wide variety of restaurants, sports bars, nightclubs, entertainment, banks, and supermarkets. It is directly opposite Hastings Plaza, where there is some duty-free shopping. Some of the islands' best swimming is at the world famous Rockley Beach, which is just a four-minute stroll from Allamanda. Allamanda is about a four-minute drive from the 9-hole Rockley hotel golf course, 10 minutes from the capital city of Bridgetown, and 20 minutes from the airport.
The property's amenities include the large outdoor pool, convenience store and gift shop, library, Internet kiosk, and self-service laundry. For those who just want to relax, a wooden boardwalk stretches the length of the property. Allamanda Restaurant overlooks the pool with a view of the ocean and offers Bajan cuisine as well as traditional dishes. The Brasserie is directly on the beachfront with a varied snack and grill menu.
Allamanda Beach Hotel is a three-minute drive from their sister hotel, Amaryllis Beach Resort, located on Palm Beach in the Garrison historic area with safe swimming, excellent snorkeling, and free non-motorized watersports. These facilities are also available for Allamanda guests.
