The Albatros Resort Hotel is located just behind the Beach Albatros Hotel and 700m from the beach. Every 15 minutes there is a shuttle bus service. All guests of Albatros Resort have free access to the private beach of Beach Albatros Hotel. The hotel is located only 10 minutes drive from Hurghada airport and 15 minutes drive from the attraction of down town.
Accommodation
The hotel consists of 186 comfortable rooms provided with air-condition, heating, bathroom, telephone, sat TV. The resort is recommended for families for its 75 family rooms Andalusian style, with full facilities. Kindly note, the Family room consists of 2 separated bed rooms.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), late breakfast (10:00-11:00), lunch (12:30-14:30, as snacks) and dinner (18:30-21:30), all buffet style (international & oriental), served in the main restaurant The White Hall. Also at the disposal of the AI guests for lunch is the Taverna (12:30-15:00, buffet) and the terrace (14:30-16:00). A variety of snacks is available between 12:30 & 16:00 at the Habana pool bar as well as from 12:30-14:30 at the beach Albatros taverna bar. Tea & coffee time is from 16:00-17:00 at the lobby bar. Kids can have ice creams from 12:00-20:00. Late night snacks are offered twice a week in the lobby bar from 23:00-24:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 10:00-24:00 at the terrace bar (10:00-18:00 & 19:00-23:00), the pool bar (10:00-18:00), the lobby bar (18:00-24:00) and the taverna bar (10:00-17:00).
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Sport facilities at the hotel include one tennis court, football, two big swimming pools for adults and one for children (surrounded by wide terraces), a health club which includes a fitness room and an indoor swimming pool operating from 09:00-21:00, the Primakids Club for kids aged 4-12yrs old (qualified staff is taking care of them) and the Manhatan disco, offering shows and music during the week. The Active Team arranges activities & events during the week such as shows and aerobics. At the Beach Albatros guests can use the fitness room, three tennis courts, a mini golf and a football court. The resort has the unique huge aqua blue park with 4 paths 120 meters each. It is considered the largest Water Park in Hurghada where people enjoy sliding in the sparkling water and the sunshine. The slides can be used between 10.00-18.00.
Chargeable Extras
The A la Carte restaurant, the seafood restaurant, laundry service, doctor visits - as well as 24 hour on call service though the reception and reservations for massage arranged at the health club are not included in the AI concept. At the Beach Albatros the facilities of diving centrr, surfing, snorkelling and other water sports are available at a charge.
Entry Requirements
On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is ?10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor?s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
