There is the 22-storey Paradise Tower, the 21-storey Island Tower, and the low-rise 3-storey Garden Room area. There are also two pools, one with a swim-up bar.
Garden rooms are appointed with one king or two double beds, and surround the pool and garden area. Some include balconies. Island Tower rooms are deluxe rooms are located in the rear tower, convenient to the convention facilities and pool areas, and feature one king-size bed with a pullout sofa, or two queen-size beds. Paradise Tower rooms are located in the front tower and nearest to the casino area, and feature all the comforts of home, including a refrigerator, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, plus one king, two queen or two double beds.
A meal at the hotel can range from fine dining to casual dining in a tropical surrounding. Other options include a steakhouse, Japanese cuisine, a deli, buffet-style dining and a coffee house. In total there are seven eateries and three bars.
The lobby and registration desk are within steps of the entrance, which is a convenience not often presented at Las Vegas properties.
The hotel is located on the corner of Tropicana Avenue and the Strip, at the southern end of Las Vegas Boulevard. A walkway connects the Tropicana to the MGM Grand right across the street, while New York-New York and Excalibur casinos border the other three corners.
